Holy Santa Muerte Print: Spooky Cute Illustration, 8.5" x 11" Letter Size, Mexican Saint of Death Deity, Gothic Dark Roses Thorns Wall Decor
- Printed on high quality, thick 100lb. paper
- 8.5" x 11"
- Spooky, spiritual, blooming, and perfect for anyone who respects Saint Death.
- Original art by Soni Graves
This art was inspired by the Mexican folk saint: Santa Muerte (or Saint of Death), who is the personification of death itself. She provides protection, healing, guidance, and assurance of a safe passage to the afterlife to her devotees. She does not judge moral standing, and she will help with a variety of needs such as health or financial blessings to those committed her.
Some unique aspects:
- The border is made of roses, thorns, and teeth (my symbol for human frailty/mortality).
- The abundance of blooming flowers allude to death's direct role in LIFE.
- Santa Muerte has a similar aura to Holy Mother Mary, also alluding to death and life being a similar force, working in tandem in the name of universal harmony.
🖤 "Holy Santa Muerte"~ A Poem :
In shadows deep, with grace she stands,
Santa Muerte, with praying hands.
A starry cloak covers bones so true,
as she guards the path both of old and new.
Through life’s dance, her watchful eye,
sees every breath and every sigh.
Not fear, but peace, her presence brings.
A guide to realms beyond all things.
In death, we bloom, in life, we fade;
Her promise kept, our debts repaid.
With love she waits, serene and wise,
to greet us when our body dies.
