Morbid Mirror Oracle (2023)

Morbid Mirror Oracle (MMO) is my first oracle deck creation. I was inspired by the concept of: “advice from the dead to the living”.

After my beloved mother’s passing in early 2022, I used my grief as a catalyst to create this 77 card deck and its accompanying booklet. Using my pain and turning it into meaningful art felt like the best way to honor my mother and the love she left me with.

I create this deck because it was something I desperately needed in my life. I wanted to create something that was morbid, yet with a warm and loving heart at its center. I intend these cards to be easy to receive messages from, as a way to receive advice whenever it is most needed.

The first edition printing of Morbid Mirror Oracle was brought to life thanks to the support from my Kickstarter backers, in October of 2023. The first edition is matte black with holographic foil accents. The color changing foil gives these cards a unique energy and a life of their own. Only 550 copies of the first edition deck exist.

The second edition/mass market version of Morbid Mirror Oracle will be printed by US Games Inc. Estimated release is in late 2026.

The art for this deck was drawn by hand, using Procreate and a stylus pencil.
